According to a relevant announcement, the high academic and technological background of Patras, as it has been shaped by the operation of one of the most important academic institutions and research centers in the country, along with the activation of many young and innovative companies, is expected to help establish the Technology Innovation Hub. In this direction, a Memorandum of Cooperation was recently signed between the University of Patras and PwC Greece, while a plan for the development of strong alliances with local bodies is to be implemented.
The development of innovation through the Technology Innovation Hub, creates reciprocal benefits for the local community, as on the one hand it creates new jobs by strengthening the economic cycle and on the other hand it contributes to the strengthening of the technological profile of the region, making it an attractive investment destination.
