Civil protection authorities in Greece on Wednesday announced that the obligatory wearing of face masks outdoors, one of the precautions in place to combat the spread of the Covid-19 virus, will be abolished as of Thursday.

Moreover, Deputy Civil Protection Deputy Minister Nikos Hardalias said a series of other restrictions will be lifted as of Monday, such as excluding fully vaccinated individuals from providing negative self-test results for entering workplaces and gymnasiums.

Additionally, the number of people allowed to dine at a single table is increased to 10, from six today, while the number of guests at outdoor functions is increased to 300.
