The elections will be held as stipulated by the Constitution at the end of the four-year term. This was clarified by the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis addressing the leader of the official opposition Alexis Tsipras, from the floor of Parliament.

Specifically, Kyriakos Mitsotakis said: “Do not sow uncertainty. Do not ask for elections because first you know that they will not take place and secondly you know that whenever they take place you will lose them. Therefore, your energy is wasted by calling for elections”, he said and at the same time stressed that now is the time for confluence and not for confrontation.
