SETE president: Tourism sector to add another 50K jobs spots in Greece this year

Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE) president Yannis Retsos estimated that the Greek tourism sector will create another 50,000 job spots in the country of roughly 11 million this year.

In a briefing of reporters on Monday, he also referred at length to the repercussions from the Russian invasion of Ukraine, especially higher energy costs and its multiplying effect on inflation.

Nevertheless, he appeared confident that 2022 will mark a complete comeback for the sector in Greece.
