During these days, prices can dip as much as 17% compared to weekend rates, particularly for domestic flights.
James Byers, Google Flights’ product director, recommends booking several weeks ahead to capitalize on these savings.
Securing tickets at least a month prior to departure is a savvy move, given the surge in prices closer to flight dates.
Low-cost carriers make the deal more attractive with substantial discounts for early bookings, tailoring fares based on demand and lead time before takeoff, catering seamlessly to travelers’ needs.
