
Α 4.1R earthquake was recorded just before 1 p.m. (11.00 GMT) south of the northern Greece port city of Thessaloniki.
According to the geodynamic institute in Athens, the quake had an epicenter in a sea region 15 kilometers northeast of the coastal resort of Platamonas, with a depth pinpointed at 16 kilometers.
The tremor was felt in the greater Thessaloniki area.
