An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale was recorded at 18:36 local time (16.36 GMT) on Tuesday in a sea region some 118 kilometers northwest of the island of Kythira, in the southwest Aegean.
The quake was recorded at a depth of 10 kilometers. No injuries or damages were initially reported.
