
The 53rd tanker was added to its fleet yesterday by the Maran Tankers Management of the Maria Angelicoussis Group. This is the VLCC “Maran Antiope” with a carrying capacity of 318,482 dwt, which raised the Greek flag as borne on 47 other tankers of the Group.
The Greek flag will be raised by the four more VLCC tankers of Maran Tankers that are under construction, with a carrying capacity of 320,500 dwt each. For eight tankers in its fleet, the company has chosen the Bahamas flag.
VLCC “Maran Antiope” was received from DSME shipyards and has been included in the ABS class.
