The European Commission this week approved Athens’ request for disbursement of the second tranche from the Recovery & Resilience Fund (RRF), totaling 3.6 billion euros.
The development was announced on Thursday by Economic Affairs Commissioner Paolo Gentiloni.
The figure, comprised of subsidies of 1.72 billion euros and loans of 1.84 billion euros, was submitted last September by the relevant deputy finance minister.
Of the 28 benchmarks that were successfully completed, 19 are related to reforms, six to investments and three to borrowing.
