Mytilineos Energy & Metals, Centrica and Vodafone UK on Tuesday announced the signing of a power purchase agreement (PPA) that involves power production from five new photo-voltaic units in the United Kingdom.
The PPA is the second between the trio involving solar energy, with the first agreement in 2022 providing for 109 GWh of “green energy”, one of the biggest such projects in the Europe.
The five units will be located in Norfolk, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire, Buckinghamshire and Dorset, with a total output of 232MW.
