The systemic lender, one of four in the country, previously held 29.2 percent in Hellenic Bank, while on Wednesday announced the acquisition of a 17.3-percent stake in Hellenic Bank from Poppy S.a.r.l, bring its total holding in Cyprus-based Hellenic Bank to 48.1 percent.
