GEK Terna group on Monday released condensed financial results for the first half of 2023, with total revenue reaching 1.604 billion euros, compared to 1.461 billion euros in the corresponding period of 2023.

The ATHEX-listed and Athens-based construction and infrastructure group announced adjusted EBITDA of 250.2 million euros, compared to 218.1 million euros in H1 2022. Net profits attributable to shareholders adjusted for non-operating results in the first half climbed to to 54.7 million euros compared to 34.3 million euros during the respective period last year.

In the concessions segment, a milestone for the Group was its recent nomination as the preferred investor for the 25-year concession of the Attiki Odos tollway in the greater Athens-Piraeus area.

GEK Terna reported a new record high backlog of 5.7 billion euros.

In the energy segment, the portfolio of projects in operation, under construction and ready to build reached 2,500 MW.
