A planned meeting between Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Turkish President Tayyip Recep Erdogan in New York on Sept. 18 has been postponed, as the former will not travel to the US metropolis and instead remain in Greece due to the massive flooding in the Thessaly province last week.
According to reports, the meeting will take place between Sept. 20 and 22.
Mitsotakis will travel to Strasbourg on Tuesday to broach the issue of emergency financial assistance to deal with the flood damages.
