The Greek National Defense Minister , Mr Nikos Panagiotopoulos, met with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Greece, Mr Xiao Junzheng, at the ministry on Tuesday.
The Greek minister stressed, among other things, that Greece and China need to further strengthen their economic, cultural and tourism exchanges. Cooperation in the field of defense and in particular in training and exchange visits of high-level officials was also discussed.
In addition, they discussed developments in Ukraine and the security situation in the Eastern Mediterranean, as well as the need to respect the sovereign rights of all states on the basis of International Law.
