The northwest Greece province of Epirus is among the Top 10 “most hospitable” regions in the world, based on Booking.com ratings, which were announced as part of the Traveller Review Awards 2023.
Epirus, in fact, comes in second, with La Rioja, Spain at the top of the ratings.

Additionally, the 11th annual Traveller Review Awards also listed the best accommodations and providers of travel services in 220 countries and destinations around the world, based on verified ratings by 240 million Booking.com users throughout the past year. The latter were joined by 1.36 million hospitality businesses listed on the platform; 230 vehicle rental companies and 58 airport transport providers.
Greece ranked eighth on this list, behind the United Kingdom and ahead of Brazil. Italy and Spain came in first and second, respectively.
