The arrest of a 64-year-old Albanian beekeeper by officers of the Arson Crimes Directorate of the Fire Brigade, for the fire that broke out yesterday in Stamata, Rodopoli, and Dionysos, turned into an arrest a while ago.
According to information from the Fire Brigade, the detainee, who is to be taken to the prosecutor today with the charge of arson, has beehives on the hill above the cemetery of Stamata, from where the fire started.
The four people who were brought in for questioning were released as nothing was found against them.
