The high interest of the international investment community for the domestic real estate market is confirmed by the double-digit number of interested parties for Alpha Bank Project Skyline.
According to bank sources, by the deadline for submitting binding bids for the transaction last Friday, more than 10 had been submitted.
According to the same circles, this is a vote of confidence both in the management of Alpha Bank and in the development prospects of real estate in Greece in the coming years.
Although the names of the potential investors were not leaked in order to preserve the smooth continuation of the bidding process, the bank stressed that the bids are being evaluated and in a few weeks there will be decisions regarding the selected ones for the next phase of the transaction.
The structure of Skyline
It is reminded that the project “Skyline” envisages the transformation of Alpha Urban Real Estate (AAA) into a real estate investment platform, in order to attract a strategic partner (joint venture partner) for the development of investments in the Greek real estate market.
The structure of the transaction will be adjusted based on the intentions and proposals of investors according to the offers submitted.
Alpha Bank intends to remain in the share capital of the scheme, in order to benefit from the positive prospects of the real estate market.
Alpha Bank dowry
Skyline will be endowed with a real estate portfolio worth over 500 million euros, as the Alpha Bank group wants to take advantage of market dynamics to make the best use of its real estate portfolio.
Among others, 50 high-profile properties are included, an additional 320 properties of high commercial value, as well as a portfolio of 205 houses and apartments.
The goal is to further enlarge the scheme, capitalizing on the synergies between the strategic investor and Alpha Bank, to create a leading investment company in the field of real estate.
Earlier, AAA’s services will be integrated with those of Alpha Real Estate, creating a strong new company with significant experience, which will provide services for the entire life cycle of real estate (eg appraisals, advisory, management and .etc.), both to Skyline and to large third party customers.
In the context of providing high quality services to its customers, Alpha Real Estate has invested in real estate management systems and data analytics.
At the same time, it has already launched the website www.propertynow.gr. Through this, the interested party is given the opportunity, through the search engine, to easily and quickly find high quality properties.
All properties for sale meet strict criteria and standards and are free from any legal or technical issues. It will not activate an electronic trading platform soon.
