Former PASOK president, deputy PM and minister Evangelos Venizelos was hospitalized on Thursday after he was found positive for Covid-19.
According to reports, physicians reported that Venizelos’ health remains good, and that he is being treated in a regular ward at the Athens-area Sotiria Hospital. Venizelos is fully vaccinated.
The former minister was recently appointed by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis as a member of the Council of Europe’s seven-person High-level Reflection Group.
