The Cypriot-flagged ferry boat ‘Daleela’ docked at the port of Piraeus on Monday to mark the resumption of a sea link between Greece and Cyprus after 22 years.

The vessel, operated by Scandro Holding Ltd, sailed on Sunday from the port of Limassol with 155 passengers, 38 vehicles and seven motorcycles.

The route will operate on a seasonal basis, with four round-trip sailings this month; eight in July; seven in August and three in September 2022. The last journey for the year is Sept. 16.

Several office-holders and ministers of both countries were on hand for the Daleela’s docking on Monday.
