The Spanish hotel group has observed a surge in tourist bookings for 2023 compared to the previous year, indicating a notable increase in travel interest in the country.
In Greece, Meliá Hotels International oversees three resorts: Sol by Meliá Cosmopolitan Rhodes in Rhodes, Sol Marina Beach Crete, and Hotel Blue Sea Beach Affiliated By Meliá in Crete, along with Meliá Athens in Athens.

The Meliá resorts in Crete and Rhodes have consistently attracted travelers from Romania, with significant interest noted from Polish tourists in Rhodes and a notable French presence in Crete.

Polish reservations increased by +8.8%.

ADR in Crete increased by +5%.
Occupancy rose from 86% to 89%.
Crete and Rhodes continue to dominate the markets of Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Poland, and Scandinavia in 2023. Early forecasts indicated particularly positive trends, with German reservations doubling compared to 2022.
