Corinth Pipeworks, the Greece-based subsidiary of Cenergy Holdings, this week announced an agreement with Equinor to produce and supply steel pipes for the IRPA undersea gas field project in Norway.
The specific field in found in the Vøring Basin, the deepest in Norway’s continental shelf, with the 15-kilometer project aimed to extend the production of the Aasta Hansteen platform and increase supplies to the rest of Europe.
Installation of the steel pipes is expected to begin in 2025.
