New route from Thessaloniki to Turkey and Egypt from CMA CGM

CMA CGM starts a new route from Thessaloniki, GETEX (Greece Egypt Turkey Express) that will connect Northern Greece with Egypt and Southern Turkey.

The new route starts today, October 5 and will be served by a ship with a capacity of 800 teu once every ten days.

According to a CMA CGM announcement, the line aims to strengthen the connection from Northern and Central Greece, and Eastern Europe to Egypt and Southern Turkey and the direct and fast connection between Southern Turkey and Greece with a gateway to Eastern European countries.

The route is Thessaloniki-Damietta-Alexandria-Mersin-Thessaloniki.
